On this website, earlier this year, people were invited to give their ideas to inform the vision for the future of the town centre through the Talk Basingstoke Survey.
This first round of public and stakeholder engagement, held in February and March 2021, gathered thoughts and feelings to understand what residents, visitors, businesses and councillors would like to see for the future of the area.
Over 3,300 people responded to this survey and this feedback was used to draft the vision and begin to shape the masterplan to bring this to life.
Residents, businesses, organisations and visitors are now being encouraged to take a look at the draft vision and masterplan ideas, as outlined on this website, and to share their comments and views on what is proposed by filling in this survey by Friday 12 November 2021.
It should take about 15 minutes to fill in and this feedback is vital in helping to shape the final vision and masterplan, which will be published later in the year.
We want to hear what you think of what we have come up with, based on what you said.
We will also be holding a number of drop-in sessions for you to come and view the draft vision and masterplan options and ask any questions you have. These sessions are taking place on the following dates:
Monday 25 October 2021 between 12.30pm and 2.30pm at Market Square, Top of the Town.
Saturday 30 October 2021 between 11.30am and 2.30pm at The Malls Shopping Centre.
